Caydance for a girl?

I think most people here don't like it. I actually really like Cadence but Caydance looks odd like it would be pronounced Cay-dance.

It's one of my most hated names. Sorry. Also, it's the name of a large bank in my area, spelled Cadence (Bank) though.

Misspelled does not equal unique....and if you ask for opinions only to defend yourself when people say they don't like it, then what's the point of asking for opinions? Not trying to flame or anything, it just goes against you asking for our thoughts, know what I mean?

I really really really like Jean Frances. SUCH an adorable name. Jessie is more of a nickname to me, but not terrible. I have to say I like it 100% more than Caydance.

I like Cadence.

Ummm...this name is unique enough on it's own - it doesn't need a you-neek spelling.

Caydance would be pronounced Cay-dance.

Cadence means flow or rhythm...I'll forever know what this name means thanks to being a percussionist in a Marching Band...ever hear of a drumline cadence? Yep. That's where it comes from.

Unless you want to pronounce it Cay-dance...

I agree with the spelling suggestions. It's Cadence, search it on dictionary.com - it's NMS but the meaning is cool.

i like it spelled cadence..as suggested by pp's. however i am not on the jean band wagon. totally nms. i actually think jessie is cute. 2 other names that i like with jess in them are jessa and jessalynn. nn's could be jessie.

Cadence reminds me of the girl Stiffler is trying to bang in American Wedding, but is a fine name.

Caydance makes me sad. Like pp have said, it changes the pronunciation. If you'd like to honor your love of dancing, I'd look for a way to do it without being so explicit.

I also don't care for Jessie as a full name--it is very much a nickname, IMO.

Pulling from both of your choices, how about Francesca Cadence?
