DH and I are team green...we have decided on a girl's name (Nora...either Nora Catherine, Nora Lynn, or Nora Marie...I will let him decide that at the time of birth if it is a girl since Nora was my pick). Well we cannot decide on a boys name!! We really want the middle name to be Roy because that's my dad's name and he had 4 daughters, so no one will carry on his name...and not to mention he is a fantastic man. Soo...we cannot agree on a name! We both like Dane, but Dane Roy doesn't sound so great. Can you think of a longer name that we could use but then call him Dane for short?? Or what else goes well with Roy? Below are some of the names we have discussed, but none that we both love. We like differnet but not too crazy names...Help me out please!!! THANK YOU!!!
Re: i need your creativity for a name! please!

From your list I like Benson Roy...I like the way it sounds together.
One of my own suggestions would be Nathan Roy, you could call him Nate for short?!
I like the name Caden, my daughter's name is Kayden Lynn, I just fell in love with the name but wanted to find a feminine way to spell it.....she is a one and only.
Nora Katherine is my girl name, so I think you have EXCELLENT taste!
How about Daniel Roy, with Dane as a nn for Daniel? I think that would work!
Other than that, I like Charles and Henry. I love the classics, and those are such strong names. They both have nicknames as well (Charlie for Charles, Harry or Hank for Henry).
How about naming him Daniel and calling him Dane?
Daniel Roy sounds nice.
If you really love Dane, I would probably either go with Daniel and call him Dane (as PPs suggested) OR I would just name him Dane Roy. I know it may not flow together the BEST, but it's not like for the rest of his life people are going to call him Dane Roy. 99.9% of the time, he's going go to just by Dane... So I'd base my decision on that, especially since it seems you guys really love the name Dane!
Other than that, I have to say I do also love the name Caden
I really like how Daniel Roy sounds. Dane could easily be a nn, too.
