It's so bizarre--if I try to start her on the left side, she fusses and cries and won't latch, but she'll hop right on the right side and nurse/suck there for over 20 minutes. I offer the left after she nurses on the right and sometimes she'll take it for a few minutes/sometimes not.
Any advice!? I'm not sure what to do...thinking about going to see a lactation consultant soon because I want to make sure this issue is resolved before supply is established, etc.
Just wondering if anyone else experienced this and if so, what you did!

Ditto on seeing a lactation consultant. My daughter had similar issues which were resolved by 2 treatments by a craniosacral therapist. She was able to align her spine which was out if whack and adjusted her palate a bit.
After that it was like I had a brand new baby!
