Re: ~*Weekly PG Check-in*~
Update: Well, I already posted my good news--a great 20 week anatomy scan! So happy about that! I've been pinning lots of stuff for the nursery and I think we're going to paint this week. My brother is visiting and wants to help us do stuff, so I figured while we have extra help, we might as well. My DH has a very time-consuming job, so anything I can take off his plate is good.
QOTW: I hardly wore any maternity last time around and this time, I've embraced it. Most comfy is leggings and a flowy top with a cute scarf. There are plenty of days I don't leave the house though, so I'm lucky to get out of my pajamas and into some yoga pants and a sweatshirt.
I need to get a recent bump pic bc and post this one and the same time during my last pregnancy--I swear I'm as big as I was at 8 months with DS!
Hugs to angelaggie and Sarebear!!
QOTW: I have been living in camis and pajama bottoms when I'm at home. At work I'm down to one pair of jeans that are still fitting well and once pair of nice slacks.
Updates: I've been having a TON of contractions on and off for the past three days. Not sure how much longer this is going to keep up. This didn't happen to me this early last time around and it's been really uncomfortable at work and throughought the night. I'm scheduled to work up until 3 days before my due date and I'm starting to get anxious that I might not make it that far... and we have yet to find a replacement for my position. So it's getting really stressful.
Other than that, things are going ok. I've gotten our bags packed and mostly everything else is ready to go.
Best of luck to MrsFroggianna today!!
T&P sent to you, Sarebear.
**Big hugs** to Sarebear.
QOTW: I love my maternity yoga pants and a big hoodie sweatshirt right now. It's my warm and comfy outfit. I will say that if I know I'm staying home, I'll just keep my pj pants on.
Updates: Things are good. Baby's heartbeat was between 150 and 160 last week. I am ready to be done with this cold, but I think I'm finally on the mend. I still don't have a real bump - it looks more like a beer belly.
Thoughts and prayers to Sarebear and to Angelaggie too.
Congrats to the new BFP's, babies, and for great anatomy scans!
Update: Well...I'm still in the hospital. Best case scenario is I have u/s tomorrow and see my cervix hasn't changed and will go home to bedrest. It's way too early for these babies to come, I need that to be what happens, and am just hoping that's what we see. To say I'm anxious for that scan would be an understatement. Unfortunately, I may also have gestantional diabetes, which I knew I was at higher risk of with twins. The beta steroid shots they gave me for the babies' lung development make your sugars go wacky, but they would have expected that to be out of my system now and my sugars have still been high after eating. Urgh. It's been a hard week but the nurses and doctors and my roomate are all great - just really want to hear positive news tomorrow and hope to cook these babies until at LEAST 32 weeks.
QOTW: yoga pants and an old navy hoodie (although after wearing yoga pants for a week straight, i'm over them). I also FINALLY discovered a pair of maternity jeans that don't fall down - from Old Navy. I hate maternity jeans so much, I can't stand having to hike my pants up constantly!

Update: I'm waiting on my OB right now (with pants on
Good luck! Keep us updated.
Update: Not much. I'm ready to meet this little girl but it's more out of excitement than anything else. I feel okay other than being tired and occassional pains here and there. The baby has definately dropped and I'm waking up with BH (or contractions - I don't know which b/c they do hurt) throughout the night but hardly have any while I'm at work. I have an appt. tomorrow and I'm hoping they'll tell me I've made tons of progress from last week. I'm just feeling so ready.
QOTW: Cami and DH's pj pants.
T&P to those of you having a difficult time right now. Lots of (hugs) all around.
Congratulations to those of you with good things happening these days!
QOTW: Right now all my normal clothes still fit, but everything is just getting a bit tighter. So, coming home after work and getting into pjs and a cami is just about the best thing ever.
Update: Feeling a lot better this week. Not as much nausea and able to eat things other than potatoes and saltines is really nice. Going to my first appt to meet with the doctor tomorrow, so that's exciting! And this will be the first time DH has ever gone to a woman's doctor appt with me, so that will be interesting...
*hugs to sb* and congrats mamas!
QOTW: I puffy heart leggings and tunics. Old Navy for the win
Update: I was sent to L&D for monitoring and a biophysical after Baby J's HB dipped a little in the office. The Dr wasn't freaking out, just wanted to be thorough. He's a wee bit over protective of us since we've had such a wild journey thus far.
The L&D nurses said Baby J's HB was super strong and he's advanced for his age
The ultrasound lady confirmed yet again Baby J is a boy, and such a boy that he was holding his noodle with one hand while waving with the other.
This kid is going to be awesome

thoughts go out to sarebear
congrats on our new bpfs
QOTW: I suppose it's leggings and a big t-shirt--especially for work. However, my comfiest pants are the track suit pants I bought when I was Sue Sylvester for Dress-up day at school. I like to wear them on the weekends.
UPDATE: I'm tired a lot. The baby moves like crazy and it's uber annoying. And, my long-term art certified sub had to bail on me. I have 6.5 weeks left until I leave. It is a huge possibility that I will get a non-art sub that know absolutely nothing about teaching art. I am freaking out about it. What I was going to leave as sub plans totally is changed. I teach Art 1, Art 2: painting and drawing, and Art 2: sculpture. I have no clue what to leave for them. I don't think I could even leave my lesson plans as is because you most likely wouldn't really get them if you weren't an art teacher. It's a really sucky situation!!!!
***big hugs*** to SareBear
QOTW: If I'm leaving the house, I'll put on a dress, and leggings if it's cold. I really don't even want to look at my jeans anymore--anything around my waist is super uncomfortable and contributes to the nausea. At home (which is most of the time--yay WFH!) I'll wear yoga pants and a t-shirt.
Update: This week I have not been feeling that great. It's been very strange--I was feeling so much better, but now I'm feeling bad in a whole new way. Before it was mostly sour stomach, now it's outright nausea. Lame. I am drinking a lot of limeade to try and stay hydrated. My NT scan is a week from Monday. FX everything is okay!
congrats to the BFPs and new babies!

Congrats to the new BFPs and AmyinAustin on her beautiful new baby girl!
Hugs for SareBear!
QOTW: At home, yoga pants and a tshirt and hoodie. To go out, maternity jeans and ON maternity shirt.
Updates: Still feeling super awesome. 2nd tri rocks. I have felt little flutters here and there which is strange considering I have an anterior placenta this time around but I'm pretty sure it's baby. I should say that I am more and more convinced that I'm having another baby boy. I'm just getting those vibes and this pg is totally on-par with what I've experienced before.
QOTW: Anything with a full belly panel, also a support girdle to help out my hips :sigh:
Update: I'm thinking I'm in the beginning stages of symphisis pubis dysfunction. My hips feel like they are going to fall apart and I am getting a stabbing pain in the front of my crotch. Pregnancy carpal tunnel is also rearing its ugly head again. Glucose test tomorrow morning. Joy.
I'm late to the party!
QOTW: My go to outfit if I leave the house is usually a target vneck tee, one of those open cardis, and some gap maternity jeans. If I'm WFH or not planning to leave, its definitely lululemon yoga pants and a old navy maternity tank.
Updates: I've been feeling pretty good this week - probably the best I've felt so far. I still have this nasty postnasal allergy thing going on but nothing compared to before. And on a fun note, I convinced DH to get a 3D/4D elective sono - so we're getting that done this week!
And on a not so fun note, I managed to fall TWICE this morning. Once at my house while trying to get the dog to go outside in the rain, and then once inside my work b/c the entry mats were soaked and the concrete floors next to the mat were super wet. I almost landed on that "caution, wet floor" sign. Dope. Thankfully I halfway caught my fall both times and landed on my butt and knee. Baby didn't seem to notice, she's still kicking away. I called the nurse to be safe, but since baby's moving and i'm not having any other adverse symptoms, she said I should be fine. Guess I'll be wearing sneakers for the rest of the rainy days =P.
Updates - There's not too much going on. We have an appointment on the 3rd with the nurse and our doctor said he was going to have her give us a free ultrasound! I'm not sure why, but I'm thrilled we get another peak at him. He's started kicking so that's a lot of fun. And I'm still in shock we're having a boy - very excited, but shocked!

My Blog
QOTW: I am too early to be in maternity clothes just yet. However, I always love cute empire waist dresses but I always feel like I look pregnant in them. So, I am kind of excited to get to wear some and actually BE pregnant!
Update: I am nauseous and have to pee all of the time. And my bewbs are super duper sensitive. And I am tired, really tired. I went to a meet and greet at my doctor's yesterday and it was just really exciting to talk about being pregnant because we still haven't told our families. We don't go to the doctor until Feb 9th but we decided we are going to go ahead and tell our parents before then because we can't keep our secret anymore and if anything goes wrong we would tell them anyways. So, this weekend we get to spill the beans and I am super excited!TTC #1 since February 2011
BFP #1 1/14/12 EDD 9/24/12 m/c at 8w4d on 2/20/12
March 2012- Dx with PCOS, started metformin
July 2012- SA completely normal
I'm new to the check in.
15wks, 1 day, DH is convinced it's a boy, hope to find out next week.
QOTW: I have two pair of yoga-type pants that I live in. I'm a teacher, so being on my feet all day, I have to have comfy clothes.
Update: I have a didelphic uterus so the baby is already quite high, so I've been showing for awhile, my kid have started with the tummy pats, trying to nip that in the bud, I prefer to not have 180 teenagers touching me, lol. The exhaustion has faded so I'm not in bed at 8 anymore, but I get up at least twice a night to pee. Also, we live in between Kyle and Ubland, which was some of the heaviest rain last night an our backyard is a swamp. I haven't let the dogs out since I got home from work because I do not want to deal with that!
Could you give me your due date? I'm too lazy to figure it out and it's obviously vital that you be placed correctly in the list
QOTW: So far I've been wearing my new maternity jeans and long sleeve tees a lot. When I wear my comfy yoga pants I just feel fat, so I don't like to go out in public in them. When I'm showing more I'll probably start doing more of that exclusively. With Leo and Charlie I lived in those ON foldover skirts.
Update: Feeling pretty good although I'm starting to get RLP and some back pain. I also started getting the twinges of milk production the other day. I remember leaking colostrum super early with Charlie and I'm not looking forward to that again.

I edited it, but it must not have saved. Due July 18
