Those who blog..."preserving" your blog?

I write my blog somewhat to keep friends and family informed of what is going on our life, somewhat to keep pictures coming for them so that I don't feel badly that I'm not sending pictures, but mostly for myself and the boys so that I have a record of memories etc.

But I was thinking about it and in 15-20 years technology will probably have changed, people wont be using blogger anymore, I don't know something. So I was wondering if there is a way to preserve the blog. Save it in a more concrete or organized way? Print it? Who knows. So that when my boys are old and grey they have their story. Does any of this question make sense?

Yes, one of those blog-to-book sites. I stopped writing in their baby book almost a year ago, but I have a blog entry every weekday since they were 12 weeks old. I planned to do it at their first birthday. Weeeell, that has long passed, but I will do it. You know, when I have some time. Smile

I love you guys for this thread! I've never heard of doing this, but I've been keeping a blog for my babies (although I'm a total slacker and haven't updated it in a month) and I am absolutely going to do this for them.

I was going to start this for my blog (no way I can go all the way back) but blurb doesn't work with self-hosted WP blogs. jerks.

What a great idea! I should do that....although I still have yet to fill out their baby books, I probably shouldn't make promises I can't keep

I admire you all for finding the time to do that, right now when I have a free evening I have a date with my bottle of Pinot Grigio & I don't think blogging after that would be a great idea

I printed our blog from my pregnancy through the boys 1st birthday. I need to get working on the 2nd year. I did it through blurb and really liked the process!
