  My cousin did. The whole thing, with c-section was $3500.

  She had to see Interns and didn't really have an OB, it was just whatever intern was on call. All her appointments were at a clinic in the hospital.

  My sister did with one of her pregnancies. i think it was around 12K (about 7 years ago).  She had pre-e, though, and had to be on hospital bed rest for a while before baby was born.

  Where do you live?  In Ohio, I know there is a program for mom's with no insurance if they meet income requirements.  I also know that there is a practice locally that has a flat rate for uninsured mom's...  and I think it's like $2500 or $3000.  But to find out about that, you'd have to ask around.

  We do have MI child in Michigan, but we have Cigna insurance and no way qualitfy for reduced cost insurance.

  We buy our own insurance and currently in Texas you can't buy maternity coverage the whole thing ( I am having a repeat csection is about 9,000) my doctor was 3,000, hospital is 4,500, anesthesia is 750 plus my lab work
