Re: ~*~FFFC~*~

  • 1.  I smell baby poop, and I can't figure out why.  It's not my shirt, hair, etc, and J didn't have a blowout or anything (in fact, I haven't changed a poopy diaper for a few days, he poops at daycare).  I have a BIG meeting soon, and I really hope no one else can smell it.

    2.  J watched TV this morning on our bed, and I was fine with it.  I had to be at work early, and it let me get ready in peace. I even turned on Franklin for him, so it wasn't the news lol.

  • I'm harboring some serious resentment towards my husband right now.  I know it would be better to talk to him about it but this morning when he asked me if I was ok, I just said "what does it matter" and left for work.  Sad

I know that's not how to make things better but it's not like telling him "no, I'm not ok" will fix anything.

(He was gone for fantasy football stuff last Sunday, traveled for work all week, came home yesterday and went straight to bowling, and he leaves for a weekend bowling tournement before I get home from work today and won't get home till Sunday.  I'm basically on my own Sunday-Sunday and it's really wearing me down)

  • My child has NEVER slept more than 2 hrs at a time, it's really wearing on me. But, last night, I was up every hour with nightmares, so today, Im going to drink a big energy drink. I know I shouldn't because I EBF, but coffee makes me nauseated, and this mama needs a jolt.
My mom and grandma are going out of town to go see a sick friend who has a brain tumorand I'm going along just to get out of town and get away from my husband. I'm a bad wife.

  • MIL took the day off to watch B on Wednesday and I was actually kind of hoping things wouldn't go well.  Everytime I see her she harps on something that I am doing that she "would never do"  and its driving me bonkers.

First off, she would NEVER give a baby a bottle that was a room temperature.  In her day they always heated the bottle.  Not a big deal, but she has brought it up FIVE times and always spins it that B must not feel comforted and loved because I'm not even trying to mimick moms milk.  Ugh

The second one just kind of makes me laugh.  She thinks its disgusting and gross that I don't wash off the poop before I throw it in the washer.  She insists that I handwash it and does so herself when she has B.  Fine lady, if you want to get baby poop on your hands feel free!

  • I want to take a week long vacation someplace, alone. I love my family but I need a break!

    ETA: vacation

  • I fell asleep holding LO in the rocker while he was fully awake and playing with a toy.  Woke up almost 2 hours later to him sleeping, I have no clue how long he was awake before giving up on me.

  • I have a FB friend who posts all day everyday about being the most amazing super mom/ wife ever. She's always doing a million things being room mom, having play dates, doing projects, always dresses herself and her kid to a t, ect. I envy her and roll my eyes hard at her everyday.

I miss smoking weed, a lot. Especially when my anxiety is bad.

I have dishes for the past two days hiding in the oven so noone knows they are dirty but me. I told Jr that he can get his internet privileges back if he washes them when he gets home.
This made me really lol. My mom always returned privileges for cleaning.

BGD3 watches the news, The Daily Show, and everything else I watch but his favorite seems to be Seinfeld.

I gave the baby a few sips of egg drop soup the other day. It's the only food he has absolutely loved.

  • My inlaws are good people- generous, supportive. That being said, my MIL likes to buy things for us that she "thinks" that we need- "Oh, your silverware is mismatched. Here is a set of silverware for 12." "Oh, your stovetop pans are old. Here is a new set that I picked out". Our stuff might be old or mismatched but we really don't need anything new- we're fine with the stuff we've picked out.

I sound like a huge b*tch complaining about this, I know, but I can't help but get a bit annoyed when I come home and all my pots and pans are in the garage, replaced with a set she picked out, pans I would have never chosen for many reasons. I understand that she is just trying to help but she doesn't ask before she buys and replaces. I don't want to tell her "no thanks" when she buys this stuff for us because I don't want to seem ugratefull but this is starting to get annoying. I feel like we're under the microscope and soon everything in our house will be replaced with things she thinks we should have. DH is no help on this, he doesn't think twice about accepting this stuff and I think part of all this is that his mom like to "take care" of her only son...

  • I made DH a birthday cake a few days ago, and I let LO suck on my finger when there was a little chocolate frosting on it.  Her response was a little disappointing actually.  It was like she didn't even notice it was there.

  • It irrationally annoys me when people post about sleep issues & others respond saying what a great sleeper they have & they didn't do anything special so they can't help. Really? Why respond then? I suppose this can go with anything though.

  • I really get annoyed with people who sell crap, bc thats what it is crap! I have a couple of friends that sell, candles, pampered chief, and other stuff I really dont need.  they all are always pushing their products down my throat and I hate it!

I also hate that people think DH and I have a bunch of money...(which is why I get pushed to buy sh*t from them)

Can I ask why? Are we showing our age? :). I think I've had my yahoo account for almost 10 years? :D

  • I had a bad headache last night and DH said he would get up at night and feed the baby. He never hears her idk how (she is IN our bedroom) she was crying for a min and I was like "hun get her and feed her" he said ok and fell back asleep. So, I smacked his back (not hard at all) and was like hello, get her! He got all pissed off at me cuz he said I shouldn't have hit him. PLEASE! I do feel like hitting you and if I really wanted to hit you you would definitly feel it but really i basically lightly tapped him on the back.

Him offering to get he at night occasionally is just irritating. He never wakes up, he always keeps trying to get her to go back to sleep with out feeding her. I'm like HELLO she is hungry put a bottle in!

Then I have to get up anyhow cuz he usually will end up falling asleep holding her or doing something else stupid. I'm just irritated with him right now. done ranting!

I don't really know how to describe why.  It just seems like there are way better email sites out there (like gmail).  It makes me feel like the person doesn't really know much about computers and like they are stuck in the 90s.  This most certainly isn't necessarily true, but just the impression that I get!

I hear what you are saying... For me, I've had it for so long that I don't want to deal with the drama and hassle of changing my e-mail. So, I keep it out of laziness! :)

I miss smoking weed, a lot. Especially when my anxiety is bad.

FB is all smoke and mirrors. My SIL photoshops the heck out of her pics, so much that she sometimes looks like a different person. She posted NYE pics and looked like she was glowing and 10 pounds smaller. I then posted the real pics on my page, showing what a hot mess she really is.

So my point is, don't envy her. She is probably not showing y'all what the real story is!

  • Even though I stopped bfing a while ago, I still wear the nursing bras I bought.  While they're not the cutest, they're supportive and really comfortable.  I also don't know if i'll have another lo so I feel like I have to get my money's worth out of them.

I also still wear some maternity clothes.  Not outside clothes but the "comfy" clothes I bought (t-shirts, yoga pants) are still really comfortable.

I have a tank top I still wear - it's the only black cami that I have that fits, so it gets worn at least once a week lol.

I do both of these. I love my nursing bras. Plus I can't fit back into my normal bras yet. I only wear some maternity shirts. They are just tshirts from Motherhood, but they kinda hid my belly right now.

My husband wants to diet with me. I don't have the energy to cook him a nice meal. I just eat baked chicken and veggies everynight. He would want something new everynight. I told him if he wanted to diet, he had to make his own dinner. Embarrassed

  • I give DS a bath every night.  and EVERY NIGHT, the minute i put him in the warm water, he pees a little bit.  (warm water... i get it)

so EVERY NIGHT, i let the water out and re run it.

Last night... i did not Huh?

FWIW... it's a tiny amount of pee and a large amount of water. Embarrassed

  • I have two bffs. One was having huge divorce-worthy problems with her H so instead of dealing with them, she gets KU. Other bff can't stop bvtching about how stupid that was. Then she starts having huge problems with her H.

    Guess who's pregnant?

I want to slap both of them. They are super smart women, so I'm totally blown away by their baby fixes everything mentality.

I hear you.  My cousin did something similar.  Her boyfriend of 10 years (on and off) was showing no signs of moving forward so she gave him an ultimatum and they broke up.  Fast forward a few months and she announces that they're back together, engaged, and she's having a baby.  She claims that it was an oops.  She said she went off the pill when they broke up, then a few weeks later they slept together but she thought she was okay because you still have 6 weeks of protection after stopping bcp, right?  Oh, and she's a nurse.  So, either she's just that dumb (and a terrible nurse) or this was an entrapment pregnancy.

She had the baby in October and now she's stressed because her new hubby is never around and won't help with the baby (shocking!)  I'm sure she'll end up solving all her problems by having another kid.  Because he'll stay home more and will help if there's another baby, right?

I love Pampered Chef but I know what you mean. Like, we all know how much our friends make (yay military) but that doesn't mean we spend the way they do. We'd rather retire than spend a ton of money on things we don't need.

  • I feel like a bad mom because my son watches entirely too much Baby Einstein. He loves that stuff and with his sleep schedule so messed up it's all he wants to do because he's too tired to play with his toys and gets too frustrated with them. Plus, it's the only chance I get now to do anything around the house without him on my boob.

This happened to me a few after we got back from Texas except I was the sick one. If I had to see me puke in the sink after destroying the toilet, I would not have sex with me.

    Sorry.
