The things we get excited about...
when TTC. I took today off of work because my SIL is getting married tomorrow, so I'm taking her out for a day of pampering before the rehearsal dinner. Even though I didn't set my alarm, I always wake up at my normal wake up time for work and temp (around 615). I temped, got a high temp which confirmed three days of higher temps after ovulation. Now, this is my 2nd month charting, but my last few cycles were crazy and I don't even think I ovulated. After getting off BCP last summer, my body has taken quite awhile to regulate (I think running/training for a half didn't help either), so this is the first time that I know I actually ovulated, and on day 16 in my cycle!
Anyway, I was so excited that my temp was still high, I literally had to get up out of bed to go login to FF to enter the temp and actually SEE the crosshairs. My first set of crosshairs! hahaha I couldn't even get back to sleep...so pathetic. Isn't it funny what excites us when TTC? I am so excited I ovulated and my cycle seems back to normal, that getting pregnant would just be another bonus! (not getting my hopes up just yet) I'm trying not to think it was a "sign" that I got a + opk on our 2nd anniversary

Congrats, OP! I get excited month after month I get CH's and a positive OPK!
My Ovulation Chart
TTC #1 since March 2010
DH - SA = Low Morphology. Great overall count.
August 2012: HSG - All Clear
September 2012: Timed Intercourse 100 mg Clomid CD 4-8 w/ Repronex & HCG Injections = BFN
October 2012: Timed Intercourse 100 mg Clomid CD 4-8 = BFN
September 2013: New Doctor: 50 mg Clomid CD 5-9 & IUI #1 = BFN
October 2013: 50 mg Clomid CD 3-7 & IUI #2 = BFN
November 2013 to ??? = On a mental break for now.
I have totally done this - so excited to see how it looked on my chart - ridiculous
And, yes, I'm always excited for the CHs too and seeing how our timing looked.

Definitely invest in the FF app. It's great access to stare at your chart without other people noticing.
And the bolded part, I don't usually have my phone with me but while I'm laying with my hips propped for 10 min (yeah, yeah, I know), my H usually tosses it to me because he know I will input it.
