Just something fun for a Friday afternoon...DH and I called LO ladybug throughout the whole pregnancy because we didn't want to reveal her name. Now that she's here I call her "buggy" all the time! Does anyone else use a silly nickname for their LO??
Re: Silly nicknames
When DD was born, she was a scrawny little thing that couldn't/wouldn't suck. I fed her by expressing BM onto a spoon, and pouring it in her mouth. Her little neck stretching out with her mouth open to meet the spoon made her look like a baby bird. She has been "birdie" or "little bird" ever since.

This might be a little weird...
My DH loves making me laugh, so after this video circulated (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4r7wHMg5Yjg BEWARE it shows snakes etc. being eaten, can be a little gross) he called LO honey badger and it kind of stuck.
Whenever LO has a little screaming fit we just say "Honey badger don't give a crap" and it makes us laugh every time.
I usually call her Sweetpea. DH will call her Monchichi or Little Miss Fussypants.
We both usually refer to her as "the bean" when talking about her.
Peanut, pumpkin, fussy britches, fuzzy head, dingles (our cat is dingleberry senior, the dog junior, and our son the 3rd...), stinky...we call him by nicknames more than we use his real name!
Agree! I have to actually think about calling DD by her real name so she gets used to hearing it!
When she was an inside baby, her nickname at my work was 'parasite' (I worked with animals, so it was just something we naturally would talk about anyway).
Outside baby nicknames are Tea-Rie (for Teagan Marie), Teags and the normals like Princess, Sweet Pea, Love Bug, etc.

When I was pregnant we referred to her as Baby G.
Now her nicknames include Little Mama and beans! But I do like buggy...I might start that one today!
