So my MIL sent me a belated birthday present (my birthday was in August lol) last week. When I opened it, I found two lacy, skimpy nighties and a baby names book. Im not quite getting the hint, can someone help me out here? lol

My MIL would do something like that. Oh wait, she has...she was the only one who bought me lingerie for my wedding shower...and then she wrapped an empty box with the tag "something for the honeymoon".
Awkward (but I figured she would lol).

He thought it was hilarious lol. He called her and asked if she thought we were having some motivation problems that lingerie would fix lol. She was more embarrassed than we were lol.

It was bad enough when my grandmother started in on me about having kids. She called me up on my birthday last year and instead of wishing me a happy birthday, started lecturing me on how by the time she was my age, she already had 2 kids and another on the way, and asking if there was some problem in my marriage. I guess I shouldn't have been too surprised, considering that she sent one of my aunts lingerie to "inspire" my uncle.

Oh, my grandmother has been bugging me about great-grandbabies since I was 20 (I am 30 now). She was 20 when she got pregnant the first time, and my mom was 20 when she got married. Im behind the curve lol.

While I could understand if you're annoyed, I think it's actually pretty funny.
About 4 months after G was born, my FIL asked me if DH and I had started "dancing" again. He even use the quotes. No lie. I'd rather have the nighties.

Sleep with Jesus sweet baby.
I think for me (and my DH) it would be a little bit of a mood killer because I wouldn't be able to stop thinking about the fact that I was wearing a nightie my MIL had picked out. But maybe that's just me!!

Yes, This!
I'm sure she would appreciate some graphic detail as to how much her son loved the skimpy lingerie that his mother bought his wife. Lol
I would die.
