How do you burp baby on brestfriend?

I usually burp DS over my shoulder but if he has his legs outstretched he isn't ccomfortable on the brestfriend and I don't feel secue sitting him up on it, do question is how do you burp your baby when using brestfriend?

    I sit him up on it and put left hand on jaw and burp with right as he leans forward.  Been doing it all month

    I would take it off to burp over my shoulder.

    Like previous poster I had more success with burping just sitting them up and leaning them forward instead, pat on lower back with my left hand while supporting with my right hand the upper chest area. (both mine had pretty good head control)

    ditto pp, I sit her up on it. my left hand holding her neck/chest, lean her over to the left a bit and pat/rub with my right hand. the position always felt secure to me even when she was smaller. hth!
