Update
Dh has been gone for 6 months now and I finally fell like I have things under control. I am working,taking care of the house, and the LOs.
He is currently under review for parole but even if he does not get paroled he should only have to serve 11 months of a 2 year sentence. (for good time and work credit)
Thank you for the support but I was wondering if anyone had any information on al anon.

I work with chemical dependency patients. I'm sending lots of hugs to you and you've been on my mind. I have some recommendations for you for when he gets out if you need some treatment options for him (which I recommend).
I think AL-ANON is an awesome place for you to go for support. Here's the Austin list:

Some of the meetings offer babysitting and some are specifically for newcomers though you can go to ANY of the meetings even if you've never been.
I don't know what area of town you're in but a woman I know that's VERY active in the AL-ANON community loves the Westlake meeting and the one on Trinity which is more a mix of "Austiny" people. She said I can give you her information if you wanted someone to go with the first time or ask questions. Anyway - totally understand if you're not comfortable or ready to reach out. Just wanted to throw the offer out there for when you are.
