My showers were January 8th and January 14th and there were things that were purchased off of our registry that we never received.
I'm kinda wondering how long do I wait to see if these things are still coming to us or if we should go out and purchase them ourselves?
It's little things like pack-n-play sheets and a baby tub.
Re: Kinda strange question - after shower.
Can you just pick up a set of PnP sheets (they aren't super expensive and really the more the merrier), also you won't be bathing baby for at least week after he/she is born so you can possibly wait out the tub until that point, if you want. Otherwise I'd just go get it and if you end up with one after you already purchased return and buy something else. Since neither item is super high priced you can probably just get them and worry about the exchange/refund if you end up with items after all.

I had something similar happen... On my BBB registry, items that I didn't register for that people bought with other items were added on. I received all of those extra gifts at my first shower - except for a Baby Bjorn carrier in a different style than the one I registered for... I was confused, so I left the original one I registered for on there. Now that one is showing up as purchased too. I have one more shower tomorrow, so I'll find out then if I get two.
But my other thought was - maybe the item was bought for someone else, but the person bought it at the same time as my gift, so it showed up as an extra item on my registry?
ANYWAY... I agree with PP's - go ahead and purchase the items and just keep the receipt.
In my experience, registries are notoriously untrustworthy as a source for "what should I expect for my baby." People make mistakes, scan the wrong item, scan the wrong registry, yadda yadda. Buyers shop for more than one thing at a time, buy one gift for you and one gift for their co-worker, it all gets scanned on one registry, whatever. Maybe someone changed their mind and found a better gift or they got the item on sale somewhere else and then returned it?
My registry at Target had some mismatched numbers, I ended up with a bunch of stuff on my registry that I hadn't registered for at all. I would wait a little bit, but if it's a convenient time for you to pick up the last few items, do it. You can always make returns if you get the gifts later.
