I used a medela symphony that was super quiet since it's hospital grade and DH never heard it at night. Now I'm using my ameda, and although it's not loud, it's lounder than the symphony and he tells me that when I pump, the sound of the pump is integrated into his dreams. The other night he had a dream he was working in a factory and the sound of my pump was one of the machines. He woke up and said, "so that's what that sound was." LMAO!
Re: breastpump influences dh's dreams
Yeah, I'm kind of spoiled now. The ameda seems lound, even though it's really not. I wish renting it wasn't quite so much or I would keep it longer.
Yeah I bet you are! I could never afford to rent one for an extended period of time, but I am happy and lucky to be able to use one at work while I'm away from LO.
LOL! I have nothing to compare to, but I have the Medela Freestyle and it is LOUD! I feel terrible when I pump at night though I get over it quick;)
