If you have had a planned c-section, did you get your catheter put in before or after you had your spinal/epi in the operating room?
Last time I was induced and got it after the epi. It ended in a c-section, so this time I'm having a repeat c-section. I'm hoping for the catheter after the epi.

With my planned c/s, they did my epi, catheter, etc all in the pre-op room.

With DS, they did it after the spinal. This post scares me for some reason.

Holy crap. They put the catheter in people BEFORE they are numb??
Both of mine were after the epidural/spinal. I would have said oh hell no if they tried to do it before.
