I just checked.. it is Lia Sophia. (That is the first thing I thought of anyway when I saw).
That's what I was afraid of, but didn't want to say it so I could get first impressions! H doesn't think it's a big deal and most people have never heard of it...

Star Wars people! Pronounced Lay-uh. You would think after those movies this name would never be mispronounced. Unless I am wrong and you are pronouncing it differently, wouldn't I feel dumb.
I like it, but you and dd will get questions about it being a Star Wars reference forever. If you are cool with that (or if that's why you're doing it) go for it!
Married in 2008 - DD born in 2010 - EDD 6.15.2012!

Annnnd that's my other concern! Haha! No it's NOT why I like it, though H likes the association. I would like it a lot more if it didn't mean tons of Princess Leia comments.

girl name - first thought was the jewelry line. then 2nd thought was rhymes too much, too sing songy.. then Star Wars reference...
so girls name is a "no go" for me ..
TTC #1 for over 5 years - too many to count IF treatments (tried everything and anything), repeat miscarriages.
Finally, Sticky Success!! B/G Twins arrived 2011.
My name is Leah and I get called Lia Spohia ALL the time and it drives me nuts! Even the princess Leah comments don't bother me as bad but I would definately not name my child after a popular company because it irriatates me as an adult! I actually really really like my name a lot so I would definately recommend it, but definately with a different middle name. (just an fyi mine is Leah Michelle).
Re: Top contenders: Leia Sophia & Owen Andrew
Leia Sophia... isn't that a jewelry line?

Lay-Uh, rather than Lee-Uh

Proud mother of two breech babies:)
I love Leia, even though it will make everyone think of Star Wars.
Leia Sophia doesn't work--it's a very well-known jewelry line. Do you have other middle name contenders?
boy name is great!

Lia Sophia is a brand of jewelry. sorry that's all i can think of when i hear it.
Leia Sophia is NMS & I think they sound a little too similar. Sorry.
I love the name Owen! This was at the top of our boy's name list.
I still like the flow of Leia Sophia! Though not the jewelry association so it's open to change. Other ideas have been:
Leia Kate
Leia Madeline
Leia Morgan (only because it's a family name, which we're not sure that we're into)
This was my first thought.

I love Owen Andrew.
Lia Sophia is a direct sale jewelry line - that's the first thing I thought of.
All I can think of is Lia Sophia the jewelry company. It's a little too rhymey for my style.
Love Owen Andrew. Owen is on our short list of boys names.
