I haven't seen any topics on this yet so I have to ask.

Do you find out the gender of the babies later because there are multiples and less space for them to flip around? I know most people find out by 18-20 weeks. Is that the same for multiples?

Sorry if this question is silly. I'm 11w4d so it's not like I'm going to find out in the next 2 months but I'm still curious.

I can't speak for others, but my observation is that people with multiples on board generally find out the sexes sooner than the singletons because we have so many more visits to our OB and MFM. I found at just after 15 weeks and nothing has changed....still little boys! Congrats on your pregnancy!

I found out at 18 weeks.

I had a bit of a different situation though. We didn't find out it was twins until almost 12 weeks. There was some lag time between getting the midwives group I had started seeing to "release" me to the OB, and then after my initial visit with her, I finally got the ball rolling at the MFM/perinatal clinic.

I found out at 19 weeks at the anatomy scan just like I did with my singeton.

We found out it was boys at 16 wks.

) And it has been confirmed every two weeks since (during scheduled u/s with the MFM)

They told us they were pretty sure we were having boys at our NT scan. It was easily confirmed by 18 weeks.

We found out at 17 weeks, and had it confirmed a couple weeks later at the anatomy scan.

I'm having my NT scan at 13 weeks. I'm not expecting anything relating to the sexes. Was just curious if it's more difficult.

We chose not to find out - apparently we are the minority as according to our DR. we were only the 2nd couple to NOT FIND OUT .. it was so so so worth it best feeling ever!

We found out at about 14 weeks -- it seemed pretty clear then and has been verified each u/s since. I've heard they can even tell earlier in some cases, depending on how you're carrying...

I found out at 16 weeks that ours were boys, we have had two scans since then and they are still boys.

We found out at our anatomy scan at 20w2d with the twins. My previous u/s was at the NT Scan at 12w2d so I couldn't have really found out earlier unless I wanted to pay for an u/s out of pocket.

At my 20w U/S they couldn't tell. But they figured it was because I was crying the entire U/S because I also had just found out it was twins.

So I had another U/S the next week where we found out it was 2 girls.

Yep! They guessed at 16w (though she said technically it was early so "don't go buying blue yet") and then for sure at 20w. And it was confirmed at every u/s after that.

We "found out" early but the sexes weren't right. At 12w we were told by the tech and the MFM definitely one girl and probably a second girl too (as definite as you can get that early... of course we knew not to paint the nursery pink yet). At 16w we were told B/G. At 19.5 weeks we were told B/B (our a/s). I didn't believe them until we had a few more u/s because it kept changing up to that point!

We found out (correctly!) at 19 weeks that it was two boys. It was pretty easy to see on the u/s even though there were two of them in there.

I found out that I was having twins & their gender (girls) @ the same time... b/c I was 22 weeks along. Talk about a freakin' shocker!!!!!!!

We found out at 7wks we were having twins and found out we were having girls at 16wks.

My anatomy scan with my MFM was scheduled for 17 weeks, so that's when I found out. I am seeing the same MFM with this pregnancy, so with this singleton we still found out at 17 weeks.

Found out Baby A during a cervical check at 16 weeks and Baby B during the a/s at 18 weeks. My baby B was shy. They told us B/G and they were right.
