Blood work question!!!

Hello everyone! I just woke up to a phone call and would love if at least someone could please help! I am 3 weeks late right now and have taken multiple urine tests that all come back negative. I finally gave up on those and wanted an answer so i went in Tuesday and got a blood test. They called me two hours later with the great news that my husband and i are pregnant!!! Yayyyyyy so we told everyone but family and were getting the families together tomorrow to tell all of them! Well they had me going in every other day for more blood work to make sure my levels were doubling. So i went in yesterday for my second blood draw and they called me this morning saying my test came back negative. WHAT!!!??????!!!!! Ok so i guess i just need to know if anyone has ever heard of this?? I have had zero bleeding or cramping!!! How does it go from positive to negative in your blood??? I was told to give it a couple weeks and see if i get a period. We already told so many people!! We were so happy for the wonderful news!!! Now what??? Do we tell people we arent anymore? HELP!!!

    Hello there.. you can totally have a positive beta level that drops.  My first pregnancy.. first beta was 27.. dropped to 5 two days later.  My 4th pregnancy.. first beta was 30.. dropped to 12 two days later.  My RE's office.. anything over 25 is a positive.  My guess is that you'll probably start cramping and bleeding.  I do think it's odd that you would be 3 weeks late and not test positive on a home pregnancy test though...
