Okay...I'll bite allis....what's on your mind? Not crazy about her, don't believe her....what's up?
When she was posting about being in the hospital she was also posting on the baby name board asking for opinions on names. I can tell you that when I lost my triplet pregnancy at 22 weeks I sure as hell wasn't in the hospital posting on message boards.

Well, she was updating us daily and then nothing for a while now. I also have issues with a couple things on her blog. My faker spidey senses are tingling. I could be totally off base here.
I don't know what the deal is, I hope she is telling the truth and also that she has a healthy and long triplet pregnancy. I do think some of the stuff in the blog is a little odd and inconsistent, especially concerning the hyperemesis...

I agree, her whole blog is just fishy. First she had a m/c, then got pg naturally with triplets (ok, rare), then she had an early u/s at 6w and they saw all 3 heartbeats (kinda unusual at 6w...it can really go 50/50 at that point). To see all hb at 6w exactly? Oh her husband's family is from England, oh and both she and her husband were teens and were both virgins when they met (or something like that). She had PTL, and a cerclage. Of course 2 identical girls, and one frat boy (how perfect). In general her updates about the babies u/s are too general. She's seeing her MFM nearly weekly, which typically doesn't happen all that much in the first trimester. I didn't see mine till my 12w NT scan, and after that I went in at 16w. Oh and just generally way too calm about going into PTL. My god, if I were in PTL I'd be freaking out, probably wouldn't be updating on my blog, and be an emotional mess. Plus not one u/s pic or picture on her blog.

but I could be wrong.
Don't forget, it was an abdominal u/s at 6 weeks. I know it's possible, but highly unlikely. I never even had an u/s wand placed on my abdomen until my 12 week NT scan and I'd had 4 transvaginal already that point (2 at the RE at 6 & 7 weeks and 2 at the OB at 8 & 10 weeks).

I agree...highly unlikely. I had transvaginal every other week, starting with first one at 5w6d, due to my previous loss and me being AMA with a twin pregnancy.

it's insane that she slept like 11 hours in the hospital.
I definitely thought that was strange as well!
I also thought it was strange when it first started that she didn't know what medication she was given. While I've never been in that situation, I always make sure I know what medications I'm being given. I've also noticed that most of you, who have had complications, make sure you are well informed of your situation and treatment. I've been giving her the benefit of the doubt since I can only imagine how unbelievably scary and heart wrenching it is/could be, but I have wondered....

That was the first red flag for me too. I had PTL issues for 15w. I knew exactly what drugs I was on b/c they were all explained to me in-depth at OB triage, as were the other drug options I didn't get. The other red flags were that she said she was on ritodrine, which I had never heard of. So I looked it up and Wiki says it was removed from the market. Wiki also said it's either an injection or oral pills. BattieNattie said she was IV tocolytics. Not that Wiki is the be all end all of sources, but still. Another red flag was that she said her doctor checked her and found that she was in labor b/c of her cramps. Then she said her cervix was perfectly fine (at that point). What was her doctor checking when he told her she was in labor if not her cervix? Monitoring is what they do to check for contractions. Not a doctor's exam. And if the cervix is completely shut then I can't imagine why a doctor would declare the patient to be in labor. Finally, it just seemed liked she didn't post about the normal progression of PTL treatments until those things were asked about by other nesties. She didn't mention a cerclage until peakay asked about it. I don't even think she posted about the actual drugs until someone asked. None of these things in and of itself is enough for me, but all together I'm suspicious. Especially about the abdominal u/s at 6w. A certified non-faker will have to say that happened to her before I believe it. I have never heard of someone getting anything but a dildocam that early.

I have to say, I was going to stay away from this post. But I can't now that the vaginal probe has been called a dildocam. It took me a second...but LMAO!

When she first intro'd I read her blog and thought she must be a faker because of the abdominal u/s at 6w... totally unrealistic. I'm sorry but there is pretty much no way would a 6w abdominal u/s clearly show three HBs. I kept my mouth shut though because I think this was around the time where there was a little bit of drama for everyone jumping on new people as fakers.
As far as the meds go... when I was in the hospital they told me the name and purpose of every single thing they gave me every single time they gave it... even though I was there for 5 days and I was taking the same things multiple times a day, they still repeated the same info every time.

I just have to say, I lurk on here a lot, and I thought faker from the beginning, but I don't "talk" to people so what do I really know
I'm in the same boat - thought fake from the beginning (especially since I've actually been in that situation) but I'm a long time lurker and infrequent poster so I wasn't going to bring it up on my own.
I was given a drug during labor and I still have no idea what it was. I just know the epidural was taking forever and I was in so much pain I couldn't think straight; I'm sure the nurse told me but I don't remember. But if I'd been in a normal situation and not in really intense labor I'm sure I would have remembered.
Also, if I were on hospital BR I'd probably be online all the time when I didn't have visitors for social support, distraction, etc. People cope differently.
But yeah the abdominal u/s at 6w is incredibly fishy.
I never had a transvag u/s, my first when we discovered twins was abdominal at 7w5d. But...the drug thing is very sketchy as well as a lot of other stuff. I had lots of trips to L&D for false labor, and anytime they gave me anything they said at least once what it was and why they were giving it.

The thing that made me give the side-eye was the Wal-Mart story. When has Wal-Mart ever cared about it's employees being polite, friendly or inoffensive? Actually, when has Wal-Mart ever cared about anything customer service related. If you're going to make up a story like that, make it happen at Nordstrom or some place that's known for service, KWIM?
I totally read "faker" in everything she writes, but I did have an abdominal US @ 6w5d and they saw the twins and both heartbeats...
Not knowing meds, the doc "checking" for and declaring her "in labor" with no cervix changes, walmart story, sleeping 11 hrs in the hospital...right! Continuous IV phenergan (never even heard of a phenergan drip and I'm an ICU nurse) and to get that at home and not in the hospital I don't buy for half a second...that stuff given IV makes people groggy and loopy (if they're not out cold, that is).
Anyway, just wanted to share about my US

It's probably some high school girl who was bored, the way she writes is a bit childish IMO.
I didn't actually read her blog until last night, and it was ridiculous how silly everything was. I don't believe that a walmart employee would have asked her about aborting one of her triplets.

Not that I think she's real cause I don't but I don't let my family have access to my blog. My mom was making horrible comments to me about it. She told me I'm saying my boys have special needs to get sympathy from people. That's the farthest thing from the truth.
I had a friend who kept her singleton pregnancy a secret until the 3rd trimester. She was on the west coast and her family was on the east coast. She had a previous pregnancy loss at almost 20 weeks with quads. Having said that, when I was pregnant with my kids my family knew what was going on considering how many hospitalizations and all that. How can you hide a PICC line? They diagnosed me with hyperamisis after I lost a lot of weight in a short time. I had lost 20 pounds with my twins from week 7 to week 10 and than only did they do a full time iv. A PICC line wasn't discussed until the 16th week with my 3rd pregnancy after I lost 30 pounds from week 8 to week 16. BattieNattie is battie for sure....
