So, I finally had to suck it up and get a NC license (goodbye TX). My BF was supposed to be back from his business trip last night, but had to stay one more day. I had been planning to make this trip like a mini vacation, but instead I got to bring Liam... Let me tell you this, a 9 month and the DMV do not mix. He was really pissed when I went to take my written test! At least I have 8 years before I have to do this again and someone will be in school...

    It sucks you had to take the written test.

    I just changed my license from Oregon to Washington, and all I had to do was pay the fee for a new license.  You only have to test if your out-of-state license is expired.

    My license still had 1 day left on it. You have to take the written test in NC to change over from another state. They kept asking me stupid snow and ice questions. My response would have been (if it was an option) do not go out driving in those conditions, city is on shut down right now (it would be in Houston).
