Trouble TTC

6.8

That was my CD21 results for the day. My 5th cycle of Clomid 50mg and the nurse said its "probably too low to keep a pregnancy" and she called me in some progesterone suppos.

So, am i officially out for this month?

I was feeling pretty good about this month until today. My boobs have been super sore, ive been very emotional and i had some spotting last week, which i all attributed to a STRONG ovulation. I guess I was wrong Sad

  • I think if you start taking the prog suppositories right away you may be able to catch it --- esp. if you have had such good symptoms! i say go ahead and take them and keep you FX! GL and baby dust -- you're not out til AF comes!

    Did you ovulate on CD14?

    Very good question!

  • It's not horrible, and with the supps it should be ok.  Anything over 5 is sustainable for beginning pregnancy just not ideal.  You really need to be between 10 and 15 to be in the clear, but your close enough that with the supp you'll be ok.  I hope you get your BFP!

  • If you ovulated CD14 or earlier, then it is a little low but not so low that progesterone supps couldn't help. If you O'd after CD14 then that's not necessarily a low number, it's actually probably normal for something prior to 7DPO.

In future cycles, I'd recommend 7DPO b/w instead of CD21 - unless you happen to O on CD14 every cycle.

    Did you ovulate on CD14?

no, i THINK i Od on CD 25 or 26, so the day i had my blood drawn i was either 6 or 7 DPO.

this is the 2nd highest number i have ever had on clomid. the other number was a 28, and that was the month i got pregnant, but miscarried.
