I hate growth spurts

I posted this mornig nabout the crappy night we had last night. Down for the night at 11:45, up at 2, down at 3, up at 5, down at 5:30, up between 6 and 7 for the day. Well ,all day LO has been a nightmare. He's slept maybe an hour all day. He's been screaming like I'm ripping his arms off all day long. He cries while I'm feeding him, he acts like he's starving to death after he finishes his bottles. He's been scratching me non stop, scratching his face, flailign his arms and legs like he's trying to swim, etc all day long. I'm so tired and frusterated. Today has been the worst day since bringing him home. It's 9:30 and it's still going on. DH says it's a growth spurt. It seems like everytime LO does something out of the normal people say it's a growth spurt. It's nice that he's growing so much but it makes for a grumpy mommy.

    Im dealing with the same thing... Ds has just not been happy the past few days, j really hope it is a growth spurt bc he is just miserable. I feel your pain mamma!

    Ughh I could have wrote this exact thing!  My LO has now decided to be wide awake after every feeding in the middle of the night.  I'm so over the lack of sleep sh!t!!!!  He's so inconsistent these days.

    This!!  The past 2 days she has been pretty fussy and on the boob a lot more.  Tuesday night she was up every 3 hours when she was sleeping for a good 6 hour then 4 hour stretch.  Last night she decided it was time to smile, talk, and pretty much be wide awake from midnight til 3am.  Ugh!  We were on such a good routine last week this makes me so sad.  I'm praying LO gets it figured out before I go back to work next week!

    I feel so much better knowing I'm not the only one dealing with this. I hope these babies figure it out soon so everyone can be better rested and more relaxed.
