Yesterday DH was holding LO on his lap, with him sitting upright and DH was holding his arms so he wouldn't fall over. I was suprised to see that he was holding his head up straight and looking around with no problems since he hates tummy time and just lays there eating his fist. I hold him upright on my chest a lot and he'll push himself off so his head is like 6 inches from me and look around.
How good does their neck control have to be for them to use things like jumpers or bouncers or anything where their head isn't against something? We saw a video of my niece in a dorway jumper thing and she looked like she was having so much fun, bouncing around, spinning, squealing and laughing. I want LO to have one too now. The only thing like that he has is a swing, we just really want to get him something else to play in.
