  I was in the same situation! I wasn't responding with Follistim when I was on 150iu and they had to up it to 225iu.  But everything still went as planned and I didn't get delayed.  It's very normal! Good luck at your next monitoring appointment.

  After my ultrasound and bloodwork today, on day 4 of stims it doesn't look like I'm responding so my RE is having me up my bravelle from 4 vials to 6-which seems like soooo much!  I'm so worried about this not working or getting cancelled.  I don't understand why I produced 3 follies just on clomid, but nothing yet on the heavy duty meds!  I hope my ovaries get their sh*t together and I am a slow responder, not a poor one!  Gah!

  My understanding is that with injects, you might be slower to start, but then , BAM...you'll have growth.

  I was the same way. Always got 3 on femara and was lucky to get 2 on follistim. I hope the upped dose does the trick!!!

  Its definitely still early - its totally normal to need the doses adjusted thoughout stims.  That is how they ensure the best response.   Good luck!!!

  Im also a slow responder and i start out very slow and then bam, tons of follies. I adjusted my meds up and down almost daily during my IVF cycles. It is definitely better to have it done this way and be monitored closely to track your progress. Whenever we upped the dosage it was usually for two days and then I dropped back down. Hope this bump in dosage does the trick for you! GL!
