Maryland Babies

::Dani::

Holy freaking hell - I am such a cow.  How did I miss your rollercoaster post??  I just saw the modified bedrest reference on TN and came looking over here.  I'm so sorry, honey.  I hope you're doing okay and please, please, please let us know if you need anything AT ALL.

Ugh.  I am so, so sorry.

Re: ::Dani::

  • Butting in--I can't believe I missed that too. I feel terrible.

    I'm glad they were able to find a heartbeat. T&P's coming your way and I will be thinking about you Monday.

    Oh ladies, it's okay!! Thank you so much, though!

    I'm good, though. It was terrifying at the time, of course! But now I'm okay. I'm taking it easy, per doctor's orders. Getting to see the heartbeat was a huge comfort and is a great sign, so I'm running with that and I'm eager to get back there on Monday for more of the same. I haven't had any bleeding since Monday when I was at the OB's office, so that's a great comfort as well.

    Thank goodness.

  • I just saw these posts today since I mostly just pop over here every once in a while.

    I know terrifying your experience was, Dani, as the same thing happened to me at 6 weeks.  I was at Japan House in Aberdeen, and it was horrible having to tell Pete we had to leave emergently and why.  Harford Memorial ED called it a "threatened abortion" and didn't give us much hope at all.  Luckily the u/s tech was willing to come in to scan me and we were able to see Bobby's heartbeat for the first time!  She was so sweet and talked to us about how frequently she sees these types of bleeds and that the strong heartbeat was a really encouraging thing.  I was considered high risk from then on out and was followed by MFM and had u/s every 4 weeks after.  I thought it was nice to be able to see him so often!

    So glad things look good now!  Take it easy and keep us posted!  HUGS!!!
