Anyone else with no crib yet?

I had a big sigh of relief when I called the furniture store tonight and they said the crib, dresser (no bookcase yet) were finally in the store. I wanted to kick myself for ordering furniture that took 8 weeks to come in---now, it is finally time to put the nursery together! Now, if the woman making the bedding from etsy will magically finishing the bedding soon....

I have a crib but it remains in its box if that counts. DH has been really busy and has not had the time to put it together. I gave him a deadline of the 31st that it must be completed by then. I want the room put together before my shower.

We still dont have a crib or dresser. We do have a bassinet though which we plan on using for the first couple months just like we did with DS. Dont stress over things not being done yet. You've still got time

I don't have one and have not ordered one yet either. The in-laws are buying it and since my FIL has been in the hospital, buying a crib has been put on the back-burner. I'm not too worried about it though because we received a PNP at our shower, which we were going to use for the bassinet feature anyway. Even if we decide we can't sleep with her in our room, we'll just put her in the nursery in her PNP (if we still don't have a crib).

We've no nursery furniture at all. Yet. We have friends who are offering us their baby hand-me-downs, but they've been under the weather for a bit. Didn't want us contracting bronchitis (especially me) just to come pick up baby stuff. Before that, it was the hustle of the holidays that made them reschedule. Kinda getting down to the wire, here, but I'm certainly not going to look a gift horse in the mouth!

So. . .yeah. Don't feel bad about not having the nursery furniture yet. At least you had it ordered!

Don't have one yet and haven't ordered it either. I just ordered the dresser but my dad is probably buying the crib. But we're planning to use the bassinet portion of a PnP for the first few months so THAT's what I really need to order. Planning to get that next payday though.

My goal is to get the most important stuff before anything else (since I've bought more than enough clothes already!)

I have it halfway finished, but we got a little dyslexic while assembling it and our friend has our tools. So we'll have to fix it later.

Technically we have nothing yet. But my mom and I are ordering the dresser on Saturday. As for the crib I'm holding off till mid-February at the latest in hopes that BRU will have a good sale between now and then. I figured since BRU ships things between 7-14 days I'll still have everything by the beginning of March.

And worse case scenario I know someone bought the Travel Lite crib from our registry (yes I was stalking) and my mom was given a second bassinet that we can use in the interim.
