Just started spotting...none of that brown stuff either its red! Shouldn't femera lengthen your LP though? My cycles have usually been 31 days with 11 LP. Today is only day 27 10dpo. So what gives? I'm so upset. I know you all know what that feels like, but I really let myself believe this would be it. Now I get to host my sisters baby shower (who got KU on 1st time with clomid- unmonitored) while I'm all sad about my BFN and feeling like crap from femera.
Next question...my o was still kinda week so RE would want to increase my femora dose except that the side effects were really bad. I was so dizzy I couldn't even sit, and the migraines I got literally made me want to kill myself (hope that doesn't offend anyone but they honestly were that bad and I have a high pain tolerance). Would an increase make the side effects worse? Would adding a trigger instead of an increase make the ovulation stronger? What side effects do you usually get from the triggers?
Thanks!
Re: Looks like I'm out too :( and some ?'s
Im sorry
I dont get any side effects from my trigger.

Wow, most don't experience bad s/e with Femara. Maybe you can request Clomid? It made me a crazy person but Femara was a piece of cake. Maybe you'll be the opposite.
Also, were you on P4 supplements? If not, I would ask about it.
So sorry about AF. ((hugs))
After more than 2 years of fertility treatments, FET did the trick!
IVF March 2012 - BFP! - Severe OHSS = 8 days in the hospital in kidney failure

FET August 27,2012 = BFP!

Rats! Well, I trust your gut instinct, but I'll be the cheerleader here and remind you the red spotting doesn't mean you're out just yet. At least for IVF cycles they tell us red spotting is completely normal during the 2ww and throughout first tri, partly because the meds have made the lining nice and thick. Did you POAS too?
Those Femara side effects sound wretched, and I'm sorry you had to deal with that. To answer your question -- the only side effect I got from the hCG was constipation. Drink some prune juice and you'll be fine!

Severe MFI. Me: supposedly all clear but eggs showed vacuoles.
IVF #1 January 2012, ER Jan 14th: 34R, 27M, 23F. Day 3: 18 embies still strong. Day 5: zero "good," one "fair," the rest "poor." Transferred 3. None made it to blast or to freeze. Jan 28: BFN.
Lucky IVF #2: Transferred two beautiful day three embies on St. Patrick's Day. BFP on HPT 7dp3dt. Beta 1 (14dpER)=106; Beta 2 (16dpER)=140; Beta 3 (19dpER)=264! First u/s 4.17.

((BIG HUGS)) I'm sorry, Hon.
My LP was shortened significantly my first Femara cycle. I think I got AF at 9-10dpiui. My RE put me on Crinone for every cycle after that and my LP went back to 13-14 days.
I didn't notice a big difference in symptoms when they upped my dosage from 2.5mg to 5mg. The only real s/e I had was bad headaches too but I had that on both dosages and I didn't have any trigger s/e. Hope that helps.

Did you notice that the headaches were any worse or were they the same?
Ugh! NO!
I'm ditto'ing Lynda, you're not out til it's flow!!! I spotted red from 7-11dpo on my first pregnancy (though it didn't turn out for me, it does often for people!).
Thanks ladies! You guys rock! I hope Lynda is right and maybe just maybe there is a small chance still.... I did not POAS yet b/c its only 10 dpo! So I guess if not full flow tomorrow am I'll POAS.
ETA- My temp did start to fall this morning too and I've had an AWFUL migraine since yesterday which I always get right before AF and then I'll have for several days passed last femera dose
We have talked about trying clomid to see if I don't get side effects from it, but I think I'll get it from that too. Lupron did the same thing to me. But my fear is that since clomid takes so much longer to exit your system, I might have the awful migraines for a longer period of time than with femara
I am so sorry about the bleeding! (((HUGS)))
As for doing femara again with a higher dosage, I would say absolutely not. I had the worst migraines also on that and told the doctor that I could not handle another cycle on it. Is there a way that you can move on to injections?
I think you should definitely add a trigger shot. That can help things. I have never gotten s/e from triggers so hopefully you will be ok with it also.
So sorry again for ugly spotting!!!! IF SUCKS
He is super conservative so he will not want to go for injects on the 2nd treatment cycle. He may not even want to add trigger or progesterone. But if I have to take meds that make me feel like sh!t then I at least want a good o and a good LP. Not to mention he is only giving us 3 cycles...
So sorry it didn't work out this time. ((hugs))
I didn't get any real side effects from any of my injectables, including the trigger shot. GL.
