38 week appointment...zero progress

I am not dilated, effaced, nothing!  I'm actually ok with this since I know it doesn't mean much but doc said if there is no progress next week we may do an u/s to see if everything is ok.

It was a little surprising to hear that there was NOTHING going on with reading all the posts about others who are 2cm and effaced...but I know this LO is going to be late so I'm not too worried!

    This is me too, except that my doc said there was "a little bit" of thinning.  Didnt give a % though.  Not dialated at all.  Was a little bummed, but like you, I know it doesnt mean much so I'm not worried about it either.  I know that this LO will be late, but I'm still hoping to go a little early.  =)

    This is exactly me also. I had my appointment yesterday and she said I was totally closed. We are getting an ultrasound next Wednesday to see what's going on. My concern is that the baby is measuring about 39 weeks. This last month of pregnancy is definitely the most difficult. Oh, and she said I haven't dropped at all.

    I hadn't made any progress at my 38 week appointment on Monday either, other than cervix is shortening a bit. It stinks b/c I'm getting induced next Thursday, really hoping I make some progress by then!

    After 2 1/2 years TTC, 3 IUI's, endo, and a lap, a surprise BFP brought us Alexandra Marie!

    At my 37 week appt today - we are still nowhere. The only happy note he gave me was that "there are good things happening in there" - which I wasn't really sure what that meant haha! When I asked, he said she's coming down a little, but he still can't reach my cervix without making me uncomfortable. As a FTM, I have no clue if that means he just isn't looking hard enough - and figures it doesnt matter? I don't know. This is the other doc in the practice, not my normal one. Maybe my regular doc will shed more light next week?
