Thankfully, I have an office with a door that locks. So I close the door and put a "Do Not Disturb" sign on it when I'm pumping.
My male boss, who sits on another floor, came down to talk to me in response to an email I had just sent. And I was pumping. He saw the sign and clearly wasn't sure what to do, so he went to the guy in the office next door to me and had him call me to see when I would be available.
My pump is LOUD. So I'm sure they heard me turn the pump off and then answer the phone (because I could hear their voices through the thin walls and the phone at the same time).
We agreed that I could come up when I was finished to meet with him. And about 5 minutes later I went up to meet with him.
I don't know who felt more awkward - me or him. LOL. I suspect he will call first the next time he needs to talk to me.

Becoming a better role model for my daughter, one day at a time
People are unbelievable. 4 person office, only female...co-worker knocks on door while I'm pumping and proceeds to yell through door asking me to log out of our accounting program he needs to use. Serioulsy? Couldn't wait the 10 minutes it takes for me to do this?
