If you've been there, I was wondering if it's worth the drive? I know outlet stores can be hit or miss. We are working on the nursery for baby #2 but don't really need that much stuff since he's getting his older brother's furniture. I would like to get a rug, maybe some bedding, blankets and decorations.
Re: Pottery Barn Kids Outlet - San Marcos
It's a warehouse-size store of Wm Sonoma, PB and PBK. Very random and you never know what you'll find- there's a huge furniture section, a rug section, and a big area dedicated to PBK bedding and accessories.
I definitely think it's worth the drive, but I think that without needing anything from there.
All of this. I love that store more than I should!

It's not what it used to be, but as of my last visit there (before we moved in 2010) it was still a decent place to browse through and find the occasional deal. Just be warned some of the stuff isn't "real" PB, it's made just for the outlet. We bought towels there and noticed when we came home that the sewn on tag said "pottery barn outlet". The quality definitely isn't as great as our other (real) PB towels.
But omg, in the old days (like, pre-economy tanking) that place was THE BOMB. They'd mark the whole store 40-50% off. We got DS a dresser for like $200 and our sofa for $300. So ... if you aren't comparing to those days, you'll probably like it even more.
