    I'm one of *those* people who only votes for the President.

    I hate higher taxes just as much as the next person, but I tend to vote Democrat mostly just because I can't bring myself to vote for anyone who intends to "preserve the sanctity of marriage" (anti gay marriage) or take choices away from women.

    I am a registered Democrat but I have voted for a variety of parties locally. The area I live in is predominantly Democrat so often voting in a Primary is the "real" election (that's the only reason I am registered). I have voted Democrat, Republican, Independent and Green.
