I'm the matron of honor in my sister's wedding and I'm going to be 8 months pregnant. It's time to order my dress but I'm not sure how many sizes up I should go. Any advice from mom's who've been in my situation (or know someone who has)?
How far along are you now?? If you are just starting I would go up 3 sizes, if you have a bump already I would try on a dress and see what size you are now and go up 2 sizes. When I was getting married my cousin was pregnant when ordering dresses but wasn't pregnant for the wedding, so opposite of you pretty much. But the stemstress told her to get 2 sizes up. I think she was thinking that she would be pregnant because we did that and it was HUGE. Good luck!

I'm in my 15th week, due July 8. I have the tiniest bump and have only gained 5 pounds so far. I was told 2-3 sizes up by the bridal store but didn't know if anyone had a more definitive answer!
3 sizes up sounds about right. You buy the dress based on the largest part of you-which will be your belly.
I was in my sister's wedding when I was 7 months pregnant. She let me find a maternity dress. Are you going to be able to do that? If so, you will probably only need to go up once size just to fit you larger bust.
I will be in a wedding 2 weeks before my due date (if i make it!). I am usually a 6, and ordered a 10.
Its a dress that is chiffon with an empire waist (so perfect for a belly), though the layer under the chiffon has NO GIVE. So we are going to go with the 10, and I will likely cut out a hole in the under layer (its dark, so if i wear black you wont be able to tell) to fit my belly - or get creative in another way. I just made sure I had a few inches in the top since I dont know how large my bust will be!
I am also in a wedding 4 months after my wedding...might get a size 8...depends on the style of dress she choses I guess.
Just be prepared for last minute augments! Good Luck!

I am in my brother's wedding when I will be 7 months.
The dress shop told me they go by bust size and add an inch for every month you will be. So that is how they measured it for me.
