If your LO falls asleep in a swing, rocker, bouncer, etc, do you leave it on during the night? Ex: LO falls asleep in their swing at night, do you leave the swing on and swinging, or do you turn it off and leave LO in the seat?
I turn the swing off after about 20-30 minutes when I am sure she is asleep.

I leave the swing on but she only sleeps in it when we are having a rough night with getting her to stay asleep. Most nights she falls asleep in her bouncer and I transfer her to her bassinet.

If she falls asleep for the night in her swing I will transfer her to the RNP. If she is napping in her bouncer or swing I will leave them on until I am sure she is alseep. Sometimes I leave the swing on while she is sleeping b/c it is electric. The bouncer is battery powered so we turn it off as soon as we know she is asleep.

If DD falls asleep in the swing in the evening, she gets moved to her crib. That's the only place we want her sleeping for the night. If it's during the day, the swing gets turned off. She doesn't fall asleep in bouncer.
The past three nights Ana has slept in her bouncy chair thing - I put her in there on purpose because she's been very very stuffy/congested and keeping her upright has made it a little easier for her to breath.

Nice to know that I am not the only one putting our LO in a swing to sleep if they are having a rough night. This was DH's idea and I felt like a bad mom until I figured out that the swing would put DS to sleep and give me an extra 2-3 hours of sleep. So far we only use it around 3am since that is when he is fussy alot.
