I have a couple of names but I'm still open to looking around.
We'll be looking in the central/north west area( NW hills, Highland Hills, Allendale, brentwood). We love bryker woods and rosedale as well but those may be out of our price range.
I'm super high maintenance and may need to look at a lot of houses so I need someone who's patient. But I also want someone aggressive for searching listings, negotiations, etc.
If you don't want to list the name here, feel free to email me at texas persa at gmail dot com (no spaces)
Re: Any one have a realtor they love?
Ha! This is how I am. I prefer to think of myself as "selective."
I have worked with Lauren Powell, and would recommend her. Her website talks a lot about Round Rock (where she lives), but the home I purchased with her help is in NW Austin.

I went to college with Todd Bailey of Realty Austin and he has both bought and sold a house with me. I love him and I don't think we'll ever work with anyone else. He's a super perfectionist and a workaholic.
If I wasn't in realtor-love with Todd, I'd use Joanne McKinney with Violet Crown. She is an awesome person and really works hard for her clients.

ed farmer sold mine and mc+kk's houses. we love him! he's one of those 'orginal' austinites like my hubby so he knows everyone and everything about austin. my brother in law also used him to buy his house (on our street....eeeeeekkkk! it's awesome!)
here's his website link
I also loved her. She was very helpful and patient with us
We're in brentwood/crestview! I've used the same realtor to buy this house, along with 2 other investments all in the 78757 zip. She's awesome for so many reasons and comes with a ton of experience to the area.
On our house - I looked at over 125 houses over a period of 9 mth with her. I was that girl. I had a strict budget, but I wanted into that area so bad. She was awesome with me as a first time home buyer and really tought me to look for a lot of things and navigate the process.
On our investment properties - she kind of took DH and I under her wing and taught us the ins/outs of investment properties as she went along (she & her husband also are in the real estate investment business). It was so helpful, and really prepared for us to be first (and 2nd) time landlords.
So anyways - here's her contact info. Her husband is also an agent, and helps show properties if she's not available (which if you've started looking in that area, things usually move pretty fast if they're priced right). Debby (and Larry) Lewis at lewishometeam dot com. Her contact info is on the site!
And if you have any questions about the brentwood/crestview area feel free to give me a shout - I'm almost celebrating 7 yrs in our cute little bungalow
