Home from the IVF Consult

Three and a half flippin' hours!  That is a crap ton of information.  The short story is that I have signs of infection in my ute so I will be on some good antibiotics while we are stimming to make sure my lining is all healthy.  We are doing the antagonist protocol so no lupron, but they do want me to stop bcps for a week and start up again.  I will start stims on March 3 with a tentative retrieval date of 3/12.  We are hoping for a 5 day transfer on St. Patricks day so we can count on some good luck.  The plan as of right now is to transfer 2 no matter what.  

TTC since 2010

lots of IUIs and 1 IVF all BFNs

    Sounds like a great plan!  I hope the antibiotics do the trick and you have a fabulous, lucky cycle in March.

    Severe MFI. Me: supposedly all clear but eggs showed vacuoles.

    IVF #1 January 2012, ER Jan 14th: 34R, 27M, 23F. Day 3: 18 embies still strong. Day 5: zero "good," one "fair," the rest "poor." Transferred 3. None made it to blast or to freeze. Jan 28: BFN.

    Lucky IVF #2: Transferred two beautiful day three embies on St. Patrick's Day. BFP on HPT 7dp3dt. Beta 1 (14dpER)=106; Beta 2 (16dpER)=140; Beta 3 (19dpER)=264! First u/s 4.17.

    IVF March 2012 - BFP! - Severe OHSS = 8 days in the hospital in kidney failure

    1st u/s on 10/10/12: It's Twins! We found out on 12/16/12 that we were having two BOYS!
