I can't wait until spring

We've been in Vancouver for the past week and it's been great. Well, the weather has sucked for the most part - lots of rain - but at least it has been above freezing and we were prepared for the rain. LO and I have gone out walking every day for most of the day. We leave by about 11 am and return sometime between 6 and 8 in the evening. This is very different from home where it is icy, snowy, and we only go out for an hour or two max if at all. DS has been napping in his stroller while we are out and actually getting better sleeps than when when we stay in at home. I think he likes the white noise of the traffic and the motion of the stroller.

I'm not looking forward to returning to the depths of winter at home. I want spring to hurry up and arrive so that I can go out walking again. The mall just isn't big enough to walk in for hours.

Oh, and I discovered that the Graco Snap n' Go stroller is convenient for size but it's steering *sucks* big time. I can't tell you how many people's heels and displays I have run over this week. I've ordered a new stroller (the City Mini) for when we travel again in March. I sure hope it's as good as the reviews lead me to believe!

    Wow, I can't even imagine! I live in Florida and run my air conditioner every day. It has been almost 80f all week. I think winter totally skipped us! It's literally like spring here - there's even pollen on the cars.

    Ugh, I'm jealous that you've been able to get outside.  I'm in MN and wish I could go for a walk.  Since we have a little bit of snow, it's sucks trying to steer a stroller, even from the parking lot to the mall.  Yeah, I've been inside since Sunday.
