XP: A tentative good news

DH 2nd SA results came back about 2 weeks ago and the doctor called and left a message for him telling him that after a month and a half, the results were still poor.  In the time between, he had started FertilAid about 2-4 weeks prior to the second SA and needless to say, when he told me (without the numbers) I pretty much threw the bottle of vitamins at a wall and gave up ever trying to have a child.  I called my RE nurse yesterday to inquire about the hormone & karyotyping BW and when she called back I was greeted with an optimistic message.

His counts went up from 9 million/mL to 53 million/mL and his motility went from 1% to 5%.  I am being cautiously optimistic about this news and immediately called DH and told him to start the FertilAid again!  He cracked the bottle while I was on the phone and took one!  Keeping fingers crossed!  We are still waiting for the full BW to come back before we go back to talk to the RE again.

    That's great news! My DH is a FertileAid taker, too. Not sure how much it helps (his #s have always been good) but I make hims take it anyway because he spends a lot of time on a bike seat (he's a bike commuter). GL to you!

    Fabulous news! May I ask how long he's been taking the supplement? I've read it takes a month or so for it to have an effect.

    I have heard that it takes up to 3 months to reach it's full potential.  He has been taking it since 16/17 December and his repeat was either the 4th or 11th of January. 

    It makes me want to believe in miracles again, but I am extremely cautious!
