? for dermabond moms (xp from Dec 2011)

How long did it take for your dermabond to completely come off? I still have some clinging to my c-section incision and it seems that it's taking forever to fall off on it's own. I had a doc appt two weeks ago and they picked some of it off to check my healing and left the rest.

It just seems excessive that I'm just shy of 6 wks PP and it's still there?

I am trying to remember and just asked DH (how soon we forget!) but it was definitely still there about a month PP. Some had fallen off, but I think it was at least 5 weeks or so before the last of it came off.

I don't remember exactly when, but as parts came up I peeled them off. I couldn't stand it!

My OB peeled a whole bunch off at my 6 week checkup. It's normal for it to be there still.

I still had a ton of it on at my 6 week appt. my doctor told me to just peel it off.

Most of mine was still there at 6 weeks PP. I probably could have peeled it off, but I was a total freak about my guts falling out.

Good to know it hangs in there for awhile. I know I want to peel it all off, but psychologically it freaks me out! I feel like I'm going to open my wound!

I have a bit left on the right side. I peel a little off a few days ago. It freaked me out. I too thought my guts would fall out. Lol. I think its normal to have it still there.
