Starting to freak me out!

My DD has mastered crawling.. yay! However, her new thing is now crawling to something and pulling up, which she can do but she doesn't 'know' how to keep her balance. She can get up but then will let go without any notice! Is there something I can do to help her learn? I'm terrified when she is sitting and goes backwards but I can't stop her from sitting up. Please tell me this is ok and it's something she'll learn! I know they say not to compare babies but @ this stage.. what were their 'milestones'..

    Nikolai has fallen over from standing more times than I can count.  And our carpet isn't very cushy.  He is totally fine - he cries for a minute but that's it.  He is starting to get that he should fall on his butt rather than straight over.  Your daughter will definitely learn :)

    Ahh, that makes me feel better :) I just walked into her room and she's standing in her crib but when she sees me she gets so excited she just lets go and falls over!

     BTW... your son is ADORABLE!!!!

    Yeah, N does that too :)  I feel like I should put his breathable bumpers back in because he keeps hitting his head when he falls.
