Hey! So, when LO was born and a few days after that, we noticed a head tilt and she leans more towards the right. It's not pronounced, but just something we noticed. At the first pedi visit, we mentioned it and she said to try to get her to look both ways, encourage looking the direction that is not favored, etc. At this visit, I asked them to check it again because we didn't really see much of a change. They recommended some physical therapy. The pedi stated that she seemed "a little tight" on the right side and needs that muscle to stretch out.
We have our first appointment on Tuesday. I would just ask the pedi to see if they want you to get an evaluation. Good luck and PM me if you want to talk more.
My LO had a slight case. It was causing flat head from her sleeping to the left. I encouraged her to turn while awake and turned her head right while she was sleeping. She is now good with both sides. I also covered her left hand to make her turn to the right to suck her thumb instead of left! Sorry to butt into your convo but wanted to offer encouragement! She's good now after a few weeks of working with her on our own.
KBBH - Thanks! She doesn't have a lean really, she mostly just likes to look that way. We just had a pedi visit last week, I'm sure he would have noticed if something was weird.
Re: *KBBH* and torticollis...
