I have the Boulevard CS and love it. I got an amazing deal on it with a trade-in at BRU.
I believe the Advocate has more cushion for side impact crashes. I don't really feel that having it accommodate a child up to 70lbs is necessary though. Most kids that weight are going to be in a booster seat.
I am not sure. If we go with the trade in event, then I guess we will probably go ahead and get one now. I don't think LO will make it to aug under 22lbs. He will be 9 months old then. We have friends whose LO is mid-high 20's and just turned 8 months. I don't want to miss out. However, if we buy from albee baby, no tax or shipping so I think it's cheaper. You save on the no tax so around $20.

I'm curious, how much did you pay?
It was on clearance for $299. I paid w/ my BRU card and had a coupon for $10 every $100 spent so I got $30 off and then I used my 25% off trade in coupon. I got it for around $200 (my mom paid $100 of it as a gift so it was even a better deal for me!).

We have the Britax Marathon Classic (accommodates up to 65lbs). Target had them on sale last fall for around $150, so we bought one for each of the boys. We didn't spend the extra money on the higher models because most kids will outgrow these seats long before they hit the weight limit. My little cousin weighs around 55lbs-- she's in kindergarten and has been out of a car seat (& in a booster) for over 2 years.
