I don't have a nanny but I was a nanny for a year in college.
I was responsible for watching the two kids (ages 2 and 4) who were both special needs. They had lots of therapy and their therapists came to the house and worked with them. During that time I had to clean the kitchen and do all the laundry everyday and then each day I had to deep clean one of the bathrooms, bedrooms, or the kitchen. I also had to have dinner ready for the parents when the dad got home at 7. I made $5/hour. I was live out.
For a baby they require much more attention so I wouldn't have your nanny do too much housework other than maybe just cleaning the kitchen while the baby naps or something like that otherwise they aren't going to be able to get it done and give LO the attention they need.

Our nanny is a man and he lives with us. He mostly just watches the LO's. He does clean up after himself and whatever mess the kids make throughout the day. He does take them to things like doctor appointments though sometimes and will run a few errands if we need him too.
We comp him room and board and pay him $600/month. He goes to school at night and that's his only real expense besides his cell phone, so it works for all of us.

We have a nanny for almost 30 hours per week. She does our laundry and keeps our kitchen tidy (dishes, floor etc). When she isn't busy she find other things to do or will do other things I ask her to help out with when needed (ie, vacuuming).
We have just our little girl. We pay her $13.50/hour (we are in Chicago). Not sure if it matters, but she has been a nanny for 40 years or so... a spry grandmother type.
***She also nannies for another family from 3-7 each weekeday afternoon, she does the same type of housework, they have 2 boys, and she picks them up from school and will take them to after school activities when they have them. They pay her the same rate that we do.
