I can't even believe what just happened here...

The fire alarm just went off in the building. Whatever, I go down the stairs with everyone else. I find out that it was an EFFING PLOY to get everyone in the building down to the back of the parking lot for cookies and apple cider!!! There are 5 pregnant people on my floor (5th floor), two of us had to pee so badly and the property manager yelled at us and said we couldn't stop to use the bathroom, that it wasn't a drill. WTF!? I got to the bottom, walked to the back of the lot and she was smiling and laughing at everyone telling them to help themselves to cookies and cider. I tried to come back in and they were like "no, I really can't let you back in the building with the fire alarm going off." I said "I'm going to pee my pants right now, and if you want to take me to this phantom fire I'll pee on it to put it out, otherwise I'm going to pee my pants and everyone is going to think my water is breaking." She unlocked the door. Good thing too, one more second and I would have throatpunched her.

WOW - I hope your fire alarm system isn't tied into an alarm system. I don't think the fire department would be so happy about a ploy like that. You would think they would be smarter than to trip a fire alarm for cider and cookies. Not to mention upsetting pregnant women who need to use the bathroom.
