pls rec your baby monitor (video or regular)

We're just not using one now since DD is still sleeping in our room. We need a new one and we have about $70 worth of credit at BRU to use, so I"d like to come out of pocket as little as possible, but I want a good monitor.

We had an angelcare one, but it finally crapped out on us and I don't think I want to spend that much on another one. We can get replacement parts, but there is no guarantee they will work w/ our situation and we'd be out $65 or so after the parts and shipping.

I'd love a video monitor but they all seem to get crappy reviews on the BRU site. Any recs are appreciated!

I love the Sony Baby Call! It's really inexpensive and got good reviews on Amazon (where I purchased it).

Highly recommend this no-frills monitor.

We have the Summer Infant video monitor and LOVE it. I would recommend it to anyone. It is a little pricey though.

We also have the Sony Babycall and gave not had any problems with it. It's about $70 at BRU.

We had a summer monitor as well, but it isnt the video one. My only complaint is that it is super sensitive so I had to sort of train myself to ignore the little grunts.
