any ideas for spring themed baby showers?

need ideas for spring themed baby shower for a girl. what colors? decor? food? cake? favors? any help is appreciated.

traditional spring colors are pastels obviously but you could choose to mix it up such as yellow with grey accents. For decor you could do pots of tulips or daffodis or vases filled with cut tulips or hyacinths. You could also utilize spring branches such as forsythia or Cherry blossom.

I have seen really cute themes such as ladybugs, butterflies, hummingbirds as a theme really embracing the nature element. I would think about what you like about spring and go from there.

For cake maybe a lighter option such as a lemon or strawberry flavor or cupcakes with a variety of flavors is still popular.

I find etsy to be a great place for inspiration. GL

I am having a spring themed shower, and my hostess is planning on focusing on baby animals, specifically birds and bunnies. Birds because my last name is Birdsong and bunnies because my mom is throwing the shower and she's always called me Bunny...now the twins are known as the Baby Bunnies.

Anyhoo...I found some beautiful ideas on Pinterest. There are also lots of websites on DIY shower ideas. I have all the links bookmarked on my laptop, but my power cord bit the dust the other day and the new one hasn't arrived. thanks all for the ideas. i really like the vibrant colors, bright pink, green and orange but I'm not sure that is really springy.

Sure they are, tulips come in all of these colors. to me, floral and baby animals scream Spring.

Love this! I too love the idea of butterflies and flowers especially for a spring theme. Ah...spring sounds so nice right now...the fresh air, the blooming of flowers, hearing the birds chirping....

my shower colors are basic light blue, pink, green and yellow.. cake will prolly be decorated with flowers im having a coworker bake one for me. were having a potluck for some reason women seriously LOVE to cook a dish up and bring it to showers. my aunts and cousins are totally excited about it.
