Clomid, Round 3, and I *finally* O'd. FINALLY. I know it's no BFP (that I know of yet - I test on Tuesday coming up), but it's progress!
I went for my blood test last Tuesday, got a call from the doctor's office yesterday, that I finally, FINALLY O'd.
Since MH and I are keeping things really quiet (we're getting quite the pressure from his parents and my mom) I haven't told and can't tell anyone about anything - at all. So I had to tell someone.
I'm a newb here, but why not use it as an intro? Hi, I'm new here, I just O'd. I know, completely awkward intro, but nonetheless.

Welcome..
Did you have monitoring appointments while taking Clomid (ultrasounds around CD10-16?) From the sounds of just finding out you O'd from blood work - it sounds like you may not be monitored properly while on Clomid.

No I didn't have ultrasounds. They took my blood for progesterone, which I was showing no traces of earlier. Not trying to sound stupid, but not sure how an ultrasound would let me know if I O'd??
Welcome! I've never taken Clomid, but from what I've gathered from this board, they are supposed to monitor your follicles before you O by ultrasound (vaginal, I believe.) If I am not mistaken, it is to ensure you don't hyperstimulate and drop more than one egg. Someone better informed than I may be able to elaborate a little further.
Congrats on O and good luck to you!
My family doctor had run a bunch of tests (I wasn't getting my period regularly) to be sure I didn't have PCOS and that my thyroid was okay, etc. My RE did an HSG test, and *did* warn me about the 'side effects' of clomid, dropping 2 eggs. My DH and I are completely okay with having twins.
