My 1st beta came in at a scary low 7.5, and beta 2, 4 days later, was 71. I am allowing myself to feel cautiously optimistic, and even posted a ticker this morning. I feel like I am an imposter, it's so weird... I felt the same way when DH and I got married, like we were playing house or dress up or something. I turn 40 on 2/12, and I can't believe it looks like I am getting my wish to be pg by my birthday....!!
I wanted to let you ladies know my status and thank you from the bottom of my heart for the support I've received here. I talk about you and the IF board like my personal IRL friends. My husband is getting used to it. 
I don't really know board ettiquette for this in-between stage where I am "a little bit pregnant" and afraid to make the leap to a pg board, I definitely do NOT want to hurt anyone here in any way so if my post was upsetting I am truly sorry. I would like to stick around for awhile more, but will just lurk if that's better. I really wanted to say thank you, and good luck!!!

CONGRATULATIONS! That is such an wonderful b-day present! Happy Birthday! BTW, my dh's b-day is 2/12 also.
I have the same wish--to be pg before I turn 40 on 2/17--I really hope I can follow your lead! Good luck and keep us updated!

Congrats! While your beta numbers are low, they are doubling at least every 48 hrs, which is more what they look at, rather than the number. As long as its rising (doubling) its a good thing. Sending sticky dust and T & P your way for a H&H 9mos. GL and keep us posted!
It's funny, McIrish, because even though I am a snowflake and posted on the IF board alot through this last cycle... I feel like TTC after 35 has been my 'home' and it felt like posting it here would make it 'real'...

March 2012 IVF (MDL Protocol) Started stims 3/3; ER 3/11 (9R, 8M, 7F) ET 3/16 (5dt of 2 blasts graded 3AB and 3BA, 3 frosties(!!) Beta 3/26 = 386; Beta 3/28 = 827; u/s 4/11 says TWINS! Boy/Girl Twins delivered at 36 weeks 6 days
Congrats!! Looks like many of us have the same wish of being pregnant before 40, i will be 40 6/1. I am waiting for AF so that i can do my 1st IUI.

ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive. Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)
DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

Come join me on the PG board. We can be "a little" pregnant together (there are sever others there that aredue within a couple weeks of us.) You won't be an imposter there at all.
