Hi! I was glancing at your blog this morning while waiting for a meeting to be over, and noticed the really cute cup's with cake in them. Can you tell me how you did that and what you used for the icing?
Pinterest! Here's the original link. I think I got everything at HEB, or everything can be bought at the grocery store, anyways:
Clear solo cups
Clear spoons
Saran Wrap
Cake mix
Icing
Sprinkles
Food dye
... oh yah and ribbon, but I had that at home.
I just baked cupcakes as usual, (washed my hands,) unwrapped the cupcakes and dropped them in the cup. My cupcakes were kinda small, so I added some regular M&Ms to the bottom. Then I dropped in a spoon full of icing and sprinkles and did one more layer. I also used Saran Wrap instead of lids for the top, and hot glued the spoons on.
I used regular icing, Pillbury cream cheese I think, with food dye. I was wishing I had a boy to try chocolate cake with regular vanilla icing dyed some bright color!
I love Pinterest. It has given me the illusion of being crafty.

Thank you so so much! I love that you mentioned washed your hands (i am a fanatic about that when I cook.)
