It's pretty much done now! He's been in it for about a week and a half and it's going well. He's not sleeping quite as well, but I think that's more because he's without a pacifier for the first time since birth. (lesson learned, don't keep procrastinating on taking away the pacifier!!!! won't make that mistake with #2!)
Anyway, here's one picture and a link (I *think* it should work) to the rest, enjoy!

(sorry no clicky, stupid safari!)

eta: more AWishness, I got the bed frame through CraigsList, only $60! and I painted my old dresser to match the trim. the most expensive thing in the room in the rug (FLOR carpet tiles), which, btw, match the paint much better IRL, but I suck at photography and the flash makes it look all wonky.
Re: AW: Big boy room :-)
so cute!!!
and thanks for the info re: pacifier. We have been debating whether to tackle it now or later (he only uses it for sleeping at home...never uses it at daycare now). i'm starting to lean towards dealing with it now, especially given your perspective!
I think we're going to tackle the pacifier soon, too. Ugh, I'm not looking forward to it.
Love it! You did a wonderful job. Where did you get that book holder? I absolutely love that idea.
P.S. I couldn't see the other photos. It asked for a user ID and password.
I thought I did something weird...try this link:

No the same, but on Ikea hacker, I've seen using IKEA wooden spice racks for that purpose too
thanks! I got the book rack on Etsy. I first saw them on Land of Nod's website, but they were $59 and I thought that was a little pricey. Unfortunately, I didn't find a super bargain on Etsy, the one I got was $45, but at least it was a little cheaper and I'd rather buy from a small business anyway.
Here is the Etsy store:

That works. It looks so great. I love all of the little details of the room.
Thanks. They offer it in white which is perfect for me. I'm pinning this as we speak.
Congrats! I can't see the pix but the PIP is adorable. You are not afraid he'll fall off? DD still has a rail and pool noodles in her bed.
I have a comforter rolled up like a bolster pillow under his fitted sheet on the edge of the bed, but I took it out for the picture. But we're not doing the rails because when we had them on his toddler bed, he kicked at them all the time and kept knocking them off--it was super annoying. He has fallen out of bed once, but he was fine...a learning experience, IMO ;-)
