So we're starting to collect preschool stuff. I think I am going to get a bin and start collecting it all there - I KNOW I shouldn't collect EVERYTHING...but how to you throw stuff away???
Every week they send home a calendar with the daily activities for the following week...it's pretty detailed and super cute. It lists what they learning about, what snacks they have and what songs they will be singing and books they will be reading...so, so cute! And we get workbooks home and it's so cute to see his "work" (like, circling the right clothes for winter etc.) And the crafts and artwork are awesome.
I'm definitely going to do some scanning instead of holding onto everything...reduce their size and put them all on a poster or maybe even make a little photobook by the year or something??

Eve Amelia- Born 2/24/09. 6lb 9.9oz
Natalie Ruth - Born 6/13/11 7lb 6.6oz
I save some of the "projects" like the holiday stuff with my Xmas decor and their yearly santa pics.
Day to day coloring/workbook pages go in the trash. If there's an especially cute one I'll hang it on the fridge for a few days but this boy is a coloring machine.
I just made a bin like this for Gavin: https://pinterest.com/pin/233765036877713893/
If it's not worth keeping at all, I toss it. Otherwise it goes in this bin. When it starts to get full, I plan to weed through it and send out some to grandparents while keeping my favorites in there.
I throw most of it away. I display stuff in rotation.
All those things that are glued together are just going to fall apart if saved. I think even a lot of painted stuff jsut dries out and crumbles after time.
I only keep the really special items. My mom had a folder of stuff from preschool/K, and I think that's more than sufficient.

I toss a lot of stuff. He comes home with so many things each week. Since we're having a difficult time with him doing fine motor tasks lately, if he comes home with something that's particularly good, I'll make a big deal about it and hang it on the fridge.
I have heard that you can keep everything in a box, then at the end of the year, go through it with them, and if there's any particular favorites of yours and theirs, you can scan them and make a Shutterfly book out of them.
